Ardlethan is a small rural farming community on the Newell Highway half way between West Wyalong and Narrandera. The town has a population of about 400 people and is surrounded by farming country where mixed crops are grown and sheep and some cattle are raised. From the turn of the century until mid 90's the area was involved in Tin Mining and from the 1960's to 1986 the population swelled to 1000 due to the mine activity.

#Ardlethan Lions Club was chartered in 1981. We have 20 members, both male and female.The club provides service and raises money for the community.
